So you've decided to take the plunge and join us. Each section has its own page with contact details or you can introduce yourself at an event.

You will not require any kit until you decide what area you wish to portray. You only need to parade at events you can manage (as your circumstances allow) plus our meetings to discuss events. Information can be requested by email or post.

Membership fees are:

Individual - £15 per year.
Family - £25 per year.

(Membership fees cover insurance at events)

When you have decided, we can advise which kit you should obtain. It can be a costly business. Members may even be able to loan you items. The following should give you an idea where to start. Vendors can be found via the links page.

New members wil be on a probationary period until they have demonstrated they are safe and of a standard to display publically.

Here's an example of the items required to portray a basic British Great War soldier:

1. Service dress jacket and trousers. (£190)

4. Grey flannel shirt. (£30)
5. P ' 08 webbing belt. (£25)
6. Reproduction boots (£140)
7. Identity discs. (£8)
